This year the College of Arts & Letters welcomes 41 new faculty and staff members. These faculty and staff members were recognized during the College of Arts & Letters’ 2024 Faculty and Staff Welcome Reception on Sept. 30 at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center.

The Cube Wins Prestigious University Creating Inclusive Excellence Grant

The Cube (publishing – process – praxis) has won a 2021-2022 university Creating Inclusive Excellence Grant (CEIG). The grant will be used to support three of The Cube’s upcoming projects: the Detroit Accessibility Project, Indigenous Games, and Holt Public Schools’ Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) content strategy and implementation.

Meet Dr. Jonathan Ritz, Director of Student Health and Wellness

Jonathan Ritz is a licensed counselor and serves as the Director of Student Wellness for the College of Arts & Letters, MSU Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS) Counselor, and is an Assistant Professor and Academic and Professional Advisor in the Department of Writing, Rhetoric, and American Cultures. As Director of Student Wellness, Ritz works with the College’s Undergraduate Studies team to support the mental health and wellness of students.
