Meet Nick Sanders, a Ph.D. student in WRAC! Nick’s work with The Writing Center @ MSU prompted one of his peers to share the following thoughts about his work:
Nick has been instrumental in the Writing Center’s language statement, Beyond Insights program, and more recently, leading the initiative to for starting the Community Writing Center at East Lansing Public Library. He also has been key in helping faculty and students with anti-racist pedagogical approaches, many times in the background and without recognition. He co-facilitated the anti-racist pedagogy training for the Justice and Equity workgroup (WRAC) and has worked to guide people in the department during racial tensions over the past few months. He also is an incredible mentor to his peers.
Thank you, Nick, for the wonderful work you do within and beyond WRAC!
