From The Verge: Random House Blends Computer Gaming with Interactive Fiction

Book publisher, Random House UK, has created an interactive, choose-your-adventure novel, Black Crown, where the reader is “asked a series of questions, presumably to help the game get a sense of your personality, and then you’ll be thrust into a number of odd predicaments, each also apparently a part of the interview.” The game is also said to be “incredibly disturbing” as the character has to deal with anything from “mutilated pigs to a constantly changing outfit.”

Written by Rob Sherman, Black Crown does have an ending, but the way it ends depends on the route the character takes.
