Profile
Cadaxa is a first year M.A. student in the Critical Studies in Literacy and Pedagogy program. She graduated from the University of Oregon in 2020 with a BA in English. She has two years of experience working at UO’s writing center, and she is looking forward to consulting here at MSU. Her primary research interests center around inclusivity and social justice in the writing classroom. The exploration of identity, embodiment, and community, particularly of marginalized peoples, is important to Cadaxa. At MSU, she hopes to narrow and define her work without losing the intersectionality necessary to inclusion. After obtaining her MA, she intends on pursuing a PhD, and eventually becoming a professor of Rhetoric and Composition.
