Profile

Dr. Acevedo is an MSU alumna with an Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership (major) and Adult Education (minor) and has worked in K-12 and higher education for over thirty years as a teacher, advisor, curricula designer, and administrator. She enjoys facilitating students’ growth and supporting their continuous transformation as learners, scholars, and writers, in part, as Faculty Advisor for two RSOs and a sorority. Dr. Acevedo recently published her fourth co-authored book, Transforming Teaching Through Reflective Writing Practices: Reflections of Michigan State University Faculty, vol. IV (2021) consecutively with varied other scholarly works.
