Profile
Noor Kate is a first-year MA student in the Writing, Rhetoric, and Culture Studies program. She is also a bilingual (speaks Arabic) first-generation student. While obtaining her BS in English with an emphasis on Writing Studies from Utah Valley University, Noor also completed all her pre-med requisites on the side in 2024. Because of this, she is a certified medical assistant who worked in a family practice and as a COVID-19 tester/vaccinator for a couple of years. At Utah Valley University, Noor was a writing consultant at the writing center. She also helped redesign an introductory writing course and mentored first-year writing students for some time.
