Profile
Roger Bresnahan’s scholarship has ranged from studies of critical theory, autobiography, cultural rhetorics, and as a result of his 1977-78 Fulbright in the Philippines, a large body of work on Philippine literature and on American colonialism in the Philippines. In more recent years he has worked on Midwestern literature and since becoming MSU’s Fulbright adviser in 2011, the rhetoric of grant applications. With Professor Emeritus of Sociology David Wiley he has recently offered a course on International Social Science Research addressed to doctoral students.
